WATER HEATERS Q&A
Straight answers before you call.
Can't find yours? Our full Q&A covers 60+ topics, or talk to a real person 24/7.
How long does a water heater last?
Tank water heaters usually last 8 to 12 years. Tankless units can last 20 years with annual descaling.
Is tankless worth it?
If you plan to stay in the home 5+ years or run out of hot water often, tankless usually pays off through lower gas bills and a much longer life.
Can you replace it the same day?
In most cases, yes. We stock the most common sizes on our trucks and in our warehouses in every metro.
Do I need a permit?
Yes, in every city we serve. We pull it, schedule the inspection and include the cost in your price.
