HEATING Q&A

Straight answers before you call.

Can't find yours? Our full Q&A covers 60+ topics, or talk to a real person 24/7.

Why is my furnace blowing cold air?

The most common causes are a dirty flame sensor, a failed ignitor, a clogged filter or a thermostat set to fan-only. If a new filter doesn't fix it, call us before it locks out.

How often should my furnace be serviced?

Once a year, ideally in early fall. Annual service keeps warranties valid and catches cracked heat exchangers and failing parts early.

What does a furnace tune-up include?

Our 21-point tune-up covers burner cleaning, flame-sensor service, a heat-exchanger inspection, carbon monoxide testing, electrical checks and a filter change.

Is a no-heat call an emergency?

Yes, when outdoor temperatures are near freezing or anyone in the home is elderly, very young or medically vulnerable. Those calls get a tech on site within 4 hours.
