SMART THERMOSTATS Q&A
Straight answers before you call.
Can't find yours? Our full Q&A covers 60+ topics, or talk to a real person 24/7.
How much will a smart thermostat save?
Typically 8-12% on heating and cooling, more if your schedule varies a lot.
Which brand do you recommend?
Ecobee for homes with uneven rooms (its remote sensors are excellent), Nest for simplicity, Honeywell for multi-stage and zoned systems.
Do I need a C-wire?
Most smart thermostats do. If you don't have one we run it or install a power adapter, included in our install price.
Can you install one on a heat pump?
Yes, and we configure the staging and balance point so your backup heat only runs when it should.
