INSURANCE CLAIM HELP Q&A
Straight answers before you call.
Can't find yours? Our full Q&A covers 60+ topics, or talk to a real person 24/7.
Do I have to use the insurer's contractor?
No. You choose your contractor. The carrier can recommend one but can't require it.
What do I pay?
Your deductible, by law. Any contractor offering to "waive" it is committing insurance fraud in Colorado and Texas.
What is recoverable depreciation?
The portion the carrier holds back until the work is done. We send the final invoice and they release it to you.
What if the claim is denied?
We review the denial, re-inspect if needed and help you request a second adjuster. Many first denials are overturned with better documentation.
