QUESTION

Does altitude change which furnace I need in Severance?

Yes. Gas furnaces lose about 4% of output per 1,000 feet, so at 4,900 ft a furnace delivers roughly 80% of its rated heat. We size and adjust for that; installers who skip it leave Severance homes short on heat.

Lower elevation also means higher summer cooling loads, so AC sizing matters as much as furnace sizing.

QUESTION

Which rebates can Severance homeowners get?

In Severance, furnace rebates come from the gas utility (Atmos Energy) and AC and heat pump rebates from the electric utility (Poudre Valley REA). We confirm your providers and current amounts on your estimate and file the paperwork.

QUESTION

Do you offer same-day furnace repair in Severance?

Yes. Severance is on our daily routes from the Denver office, same-day appointments are available, and no-heat calls get a technician on site within 4 hours. No trip charges.

Trucks are stocked with ignitors, flame sensors, capacitors and blower motors for the brands common in Severance homes, so 91% of repairs are finished on the first visit.
