QUESTION

Does altitude change which furnace I need in Larkspur?

Yes. Gas furnaces lose about 4% of output per 1,000 feet, so at 6,700 ft a furnace delivers roughly 73% of its rated heat. We size and adjust for that; installers who skip it leave Larkspur homes short on heat.

Heat pumps also need cold-climate models here because winter design temperatures are lower than in Denver.

QUESTION

Which rebates can Larkspur homeowners get?

In Larkspur, furnace rebates come from the gas utility (Black Hills Energy) and AC and heat pump rebates from the electric utility (CORE Electric). We confirm your providers and current amounts on your estimate and file the paperwork.

QUESTION

Do you offer same-day furnace repair in Larkspur?

Yes. Larkspur is on our daily routes from the Denver office, same-day appointments are available, and no-heat calls get a technician on site within 4 hours. No trip charges.

Trucks are stocked with ignitors, flame sensors, capacitors and blower motors for the brands common in Larkspur homes, so 91% of repairs are finished on the first visit.
